MC2 Introduces Performance Logic NT Series of Graphics Stations

August 31, 1992 -- BOAZ, Alabama--MC2 Computer Corporation is introducing
the Performance Logic Graphic Series NT, an Intel 486DX/50-based local bus
graphic station in a tower chassis.

Targeted as an alternative to UNIX workstations, the product combines the
dramatic I/O speed increases of 32-bit, 50-MHz local bus processing with
MC2 Computers' RapidGrafX chipset architecture. This chipset is
specifically configured to optimize performance of MicroStation PC and
ModelView PC by improving the I/O pipelining critical to file-based
applications. Graphics benchmark speeds of Performance Logic units meet or
exceed those of Compaq, Dell, and Hewlett Packard.

Like its very successful ISA-bus predecessor, NT Series units will be built
on a custom basis. System comes with 256K of write-back SRAM. Customer
determines memory ranging from 16Mb to 64Mb of 70 nanosecond RAM. The
RapidCache/NT disk controller is standard. NT units are available in
single- or dual-screen configurations.

MC2 Computers fills orders directly and through from several MicroStation
resellers. Plans tentatively call to expand their involvement with
resellers.

MC2 Computer Corporation is a small, woman-owned company.
