August 25, 1992 -- Kestrel Enterprises has announced that MailMiser Plus
now handles the required USPS sorting to SCF's and ADS's/SDC's for 1st and
3rd Class Pre-Barcoded Flat Mail. The new sorting requirements become
effective with the September 20, 1992 implementation of postage discounts
for pre-barcoded flats. The sorting requirements also will be extended to
letters and postcards later in the year.

According to Kestrel, inclusion of this new sorting capability will assure
that mailers retain the highest possible discounts for their own mailings
and for clients mailings. Substantial labor cost savings also can be
expected, since mailings are addressed by MailMiser Plus in the required
pre-sort order. This eliminates the need for any special handling caused
by non-consecutive ZIP codes within USPS Sectional, Area, and State
Distribution Centers.

The company also announced that the enhanced product will support Delivery
Point Digits, Check Digits and Puerto Rican Uberanization data that are
returned from CASS Certified ZIP/NCOA diskette processing services. This
capability will be added along with the new pre-sorting module in early
September. Upgrade packages for existing users will be made available at
the same time.

MailMiser Plus is designed for small to medium sized business and
non-profit mailers.
