Using HTM_TXT.EXE

This shareware program strips the bracketed <HTML TAGS> out of
an HTM extension document and saves it as a TXT file. It is
a DOS program and has been tested under Windows 95 in a DOS
run-time window.

To use the program you MUST COPY THE .HTM file into the same
directory as the HTM_TXT.EXE program. Run the HTM_TXT program
double clicking on it in Windows or typing: htm_txt and pressing
the <Enter key> in DOS.

It will display all files in the current directory have an HTM
extension. Type in just the file name, no extension. Thus:

test.htm

This is entered as:

test

Then press the <Enter> key and the program does the rest.

You will see a prompt that your TEXT FILE IS READY. Press <ENTER>
or close the DOS Window and you can now read the TXT file in
Note Pad, Wordpad or any other text program and reads TXT files.

Note: No word wrap is provided so long lines of text may be
imported. You will have to deal with these manually.
