1. Introduction

  ASMake v1.0 is an easy and fast converting program, with which you can
  convert binary files (e.g. raw-format pictures) into asm byte/word/dword-
  files. A special function of ASMake v1.0 is, that you can convert binary-
  blocks (e.g. useful for font-ripping).

2. Disclaimer

  ASMake v1.0 is FREEWARE. I do NOT take any responsibility for any kind of
  damage this software-product may cause. I have test it on some computers
  and it works there without any problems.

3. Distribution

  You can distribute ASMake v1.0 as much as you like. But please distribute
  only the original files in the original form.

   * ASMAKE.EXE............main-program
   * FILE_ID.DIZ...........short program-discription
   * README.TXT............you are reading it

4. How to use the program

  The program is designed very easy and you should have no problems at all.
  *For converting a whole binary-file you have to do only some settings:
    Choosing the source type. <pressing [ALT-T]>
     There are three source-types: a) byte
                                   b) word
                                   c) dword (double-word)
    Making the labelname for the output-ASM-include-file. <pressing [ALT-L]>
    You can also choose which information the outpufile should have
     <pressing [ALT-R]>
     There are some remarks: a) blkinfo -> includes information about the
                                           converted blocks (only for block-
                                           converting)
                             b) filesiz -> includes the inputfile-size
                             c) date    -> includes the converting-date
                             d) filenam -> includes the inputfile-name
                             e) label -> includes the labelname
  *For using block-converting you have to make also some settings
    There is only one sourcetype -> byte
    Choose the options for the block-convertin
     (using this keys: Arrow-Keys...[+/-]...[ENTER])
     Here is an example given for the settings, using a pseudo-graphic:

                                   blocknumber/X
                         Ŀ
                            blocksize/X
                         Ŀ

                       Ŀ   Ŀ

           block-  <
           size/Y

 block- <               Ŀ   Ŀ
 number/Y

                                       blockspace

        The maxsize is the x-size of the screen-mode you will you
        (eg. 320).

    *After making this settings, you have to choose an input- and outputfile
     by typing the [F3] or [F4]-Key.
     Then you can press the [F2]-Key and the converting starts...
