Quick Installation of WordCruncher for the PC-SIG Windows CD-ROM. WordCruncher keeps track of itself by reading and writing to ``maintenance files'' which take up about 22K. The instructions below assume you are going to place these files in the PCSIGWIN directory created when you installed the PC-SIG CD-ROM. 1. Switch to your CD-ROM and type: CD\WCS [Enter] 2. Type: WCV CD=x:\PCSIGWIN [Enter] (where x is the letter of your chosen hard or floppy drive) 3. Press the Insert key 4. Type: y:\WCS [Enter key twice] (where y is the letter of your CD player) 5. Press the Insert key. 6. Type: y:\WCS [Enter] (y is still the letter of your CD) 7. Highlight PCSIGENC.BYB [Enter] If you have installed the maintenance files on drive C you can now start WordCruncher with the WordCruncher link within the CD-ROM's HyperReader interface. To start WordCruncher from DOS change directories to the WCS directory on the CD player and type WCV CD=x:\PCSIGWIN (where x is your chosen drive). You can add "nolvl3" all in lower case if you wish to block the display of the number and word "heading" at the end of the program title line. ex: WCV CD=x\PCSIGWIN nolvl3
