It was founded in September 1995 between two small Demogroups, NITEMARE and Electronic Rag. In the end of January 1996 DiABOLiC FORCE got a new member, Shadow Bandit. Our first bigger production will be a megademo, Planet Plasma. We think, it will be released in September 1996. Some InFoZ about thE Intro ΝΝΝΝΝΝΝΝΝΝΝΝΝΝΝΝΝΝΝΝΝΝΝΝΝΝΝΝΝΝΝΔ This little Intro iZ, you know, linked to one big EXE-File. If you cut this Intro into four elements, then you get 204kb GFX, 47kb Code, 11kb Link-Routines and 221kb Muzak! The Intro requieres a 386 processor and 570kb RAM to run without "Hang-Up's". It runs best on a 486 DX/4-100 and above. ThiZ Intro supports the following Soundcards: - Soundblaster(1.x,2.0,Pro,16) - Gravis Ultrasound - Windows Sound System - Pro Audio Spectrum We recommend you the following configuration: 1. Boot the Computer 2. Load only the driver HIMEM.SYS 3. Start the Intro If you're using EMM386 with the option NOEMS or Qemm, your PC could look up, when the Music iZ looping, so..... We used thE following SoftwarE to cReate thiZ Intro: Borland Pascal 7.0, Turbo Assembler 3.2, PC Paintbrush 1.0 and XLink 2.0. The Muzak was done with Creator 3.72. ThiZ is the final Update, Version 1.5 ! The Intro is trying to check out wich kind of Soundcard you have. The Intro requieres a VGA-Card. If you haven't one, sorry guy, but VGA is standard. If you have a slower computer than a 486 DX/4-100 MHZ, sO iT may bE thaT ya must wait a longer timE on somE parts (but 486 DX/2-66 iZ O.K.). Yo, we have bulit in a Accelerator, but thiZ thing helps you only at the Animation Parts (Textured Cube,Realtime-Plasmas). Hey, the Soundsystem iZ goooood :-). YesZ, but it's not our own Soundsystem. The System we used in thiZ Intro is the MIDAS-Soundsystem and was coded by Petteri Kangaslampi and Jarno Paananen. We did not used our own System because we debugged it not anymore,because due lack of time (the Intro must be finally ready before the Demo iZ released!) and of course we're lazy ;-). Info for Windows 95 users: FUCK THIS UNREAL 32BIT-SHIT!! RUN THE INTRO IN DOS-MODE, or better: INSTALL MS-DOS 6.XX !!! :-) !
