TIM.EXE README FILE The Time Is Money (TIM.EXE) program tracks time and cost for various events. It can be used by contractors or consultants to track the amount to charge a client. It can be used to track the time and cost for long distance phone calls. It can be used by engineers to determine the distribution of time to various projects. It has capabilities for minimum amount, and material costs. One of the key features of this program is its ability to track time while the program is not running, or the computer is shut off. When you start a timer, and terminate the program correctly (not rebooting), the program will save its entire state. When the program is started again, it will resume, and will reflect the amount of time that has passed. If you plan track a specific event often, you should associate the extension .TIM with TIM.EXE by editing the WIN.INI file, or by choosing File.Associate from the File Manager. Then put the name of the .TIM file on the load= line of your WIN.INI. You may have multiple timers running simultaneously. When you close and resume a timer, it will size itself to the same size and location as when it was closed. Additional documentation for this program is in TIM.WRI.
