Northcoast Internet's billing cycle always begins on the 1st and ends on the last day of the month. So it's better for you if you start yout free account close to the beginning on the month.

After the end of the first month, normal usage rates apply.

Internet access using SLIP or PPP: If you use a Macintosh or any other computer that can talk TCP/IP, SLIP (Serial Line Internet Protocol) or PPP (Point-to-Point protocol) is the best way to access the Internet. You can use graphical interfaces like MacWeb, Anarchie, NetPhone and more! Access at any speed up to 28.8 KBPS any time day or night, with no "prime-time" charges. One-time setup $35; Monthly fee $25 for up to 25 hours of service; $1 an hour beyond first 25 hours.
Internet access using UNIX command line interface: If your computer can't do SLIP or PPP (or if you just prefer using the UNIX operating system) Northcoast Internet also offers UNIX prompt access - complete with all the utilities you need; trn, elm, ping and much more. Access at any speed up to 28.8KBPS any time, day or night, with no "prime-time" charges.
