INFORMATION ABOUT THE LENDER'S TOOLBOX INSTALLATION

(If using NotePad to view this file, maximize the window . Select
File|Print for a hard copy of this file.)

This program version requires Windows 95/98 (32-bit), 3.5MB of
available hard disk space, and a minimum of 16 megabytes of RAM.
(Note: A 16-bit version - v4.x - is also available for Windows 3.1x
users as LTBWIN.ZIP.)

----------------------------------------------------------------------
The application requires the MSVBVM50.DLL (version 5.00.4319(SP2) or
higher) and its related OLE files, which should be located your
Windows\System subdirectory. Since most systems will already contain
these files they are NOT included in this download version (resulting
in a shorter download time). If this file (or the correct version) is
NOT present on your system you can obtain all of these necessary
32-bit system files by pointing your Web browser to:
        ftp://members.aol.com/egcdnld1/vb5run.zip
(AOL users can use AOL's "File Search" and download VB5RUN.ZIP.)
----------------------------------------------------------------------

The file SETUP.EXE is a 'self-installing' setup program which can be
run from either your hard drive or copied to a floppy disk. (If you
wish to run the Setup program from floppy disks copy the file Setup.Exe
to Disk #1 and Setup.W02 to Disk #2 - place Disk #1 in your floppy
drive to start the installation process.) From the Win95 desktop select
Start | Run. At the 'Run' dialog box type the path to the Setup program
(eg: 'A:\' or 'C:\TEMP\') followed by 'SETUP.EXE' and press Enter. After
a short initialization period you will see a "Welcome" screen. (You can
abort the installation at any time by selecting the 'CANCEL' command
button.)

The following program files can be placed in any directory you wish (but
they must be kept together - the setup program will let you choose the
target subdirectory for these files):
	LENDER.EXE	The main program file
LENDER.HLP	The online Help & documentation file
        LENDER.CNT Associated help file contents
LENDER.DOC Additional information about the program
	LENDER.INI	The program initialization file
	REGISTER.EXE	The registration form program

The following system files will be copied to your \Windows\System
subdirectory (if they are not already present):
COMCTL32.OCX Custom control used by LENDER.EXE
MSFLXGRD.OCX Custom control used by LENDER.EXE
VSOCX32.OCX Custom control used by LENDER.EXE
VSVIEW3.OCX Custom control used by LENDER.EXE
RTREGW32.DLL	Custom library used by LENDER.EXE
MFC42.DLL Microsoft library used by LENDER.EXE
MSVCRT.DLL Microsoft library used by LENDER.EXE

In addition, a file named UNTOOLBX.EXE will be copied to your program
subdirectory. This file gives you an easy method to 'uninstall' the
program files, either automatically or by manual selection. (A file
named INSTALL.LOG will be created in your program subdirectory ... do
NOT erase this file since the uninstall program uses this to 'undo' the
changes that were made during the installation process.)

Note: If earlier versions of any of the files are already present on your
computer they will be replaced by more recent versions. Later version
files will NOT be replaced. (The setup program will 'back up' any files
replaced during installation, unless you choose NOT to have backups made.)

The setup program will automatically create a new Start menu group for the
Lender's ToolBox ... you can accept the default group name, choose a new
or existing group name, or tell the setup program NOT to install a
Program Group/Program Icons.

You are urged to view the Read Me file at completion of the installation
 - it contains additional information concerning the program.

*******************************************************************
If you continue to use this program after a reasonable evaluation
period you should obtain a licensed copy by completing the
Registration Form (accessed from the main menu, the Help file, or the
icon in your program group) and remitting the required fee. In this
way the author (and other shareware authors) can continue to offer you
quality software on a 'try before you buy' basis.
