PROGRAM DESCRIPTION

MONEY MATH for Windows, v3.1 <ASP>, brings you a comprehensive set of
financial analysis tools in one package. No need for a different
program for each calculation you want to do. Money Math has 19
different dialog boxes that perform over 60 financial calculations.
Look at the following generic calculations available:

	Date Arithmetic
	Simple Interest
	Bank Discount
	Compound Interest
Annuities: Loan, Save, Lease, Sinking Fund
	Annuity with unequal payments
	Bonds: Corporate, Treasury
	Certificate of Deposit

	Loan Amortization (Schedules)

Specialized Worksheets perform multiple generic calculations to do the
following complex tasks:

	Refinance Mortgage
	Prepay Mortgage
	Purchase Mortgage
	Income from Savings (Retirement Planning)
	Discounted Note

Your calculation results can be easily edited, printed, or saved to a
file. Money Math gets financial mathematics under control!

The trial version of Money Math in this package is limited to a 30-day
trial period and 10 uses. The program will become unusable afterwards.
You are encouraged to purchase the registered version before the
expiration time occurs. To purchase Money Math see the section below
titled, HOW TO PURCHASE MONEY MATH.

SYSTEM REQUIREMENTS

Money Math requires, as a minimum, an IBM AT or compatible computer
with Windows 3.1, Windows 3.11, or Windows95/98 installed and running.
The current memory in your computer should be adequate if you are able
to use other Windows applications satisfactorily. The hard disk space
needed is less than 600 kilobytes. Money Math will not run with Windows
3.0.

MONEY MATH(TM) INSTALLATION

You will probably receive Money Math in one of two ways. In the first
way, you will have a floppy disk with the eleven individual files
listed below:

MONYMATH.EXE - Money Math executable for Windows 3.1 or greater
MONYMATH.HLP - Money Math help for Windows 3.1 or greater
REGISTER.TXT - Purchase Order form for Users
README.TXT - Program Description & Install information (use Notepad)
MEDIA.WRI - Quick start for Money Math and for Media use
VALUE.EXE - Money Math helper executable
MFCH12.DLL - Money Math helper DLL

INSTALL.EXE - Installation Program for Money Math
VENDINFO.DIZ - Vendor and Distributor information (this file)
FILE_ID.DIZ - BBS description of Money Math
VENDOR.TXT - (use VENDINFO.DIZ for all information)

If you have a disk with the eleven files, use the instructions given in
the section below titled, "USING THE INSTALL PROGRAM".

The second way to receive Money Math is in a compressed file or
archive. The compressed file name should be MOMATH5.xxx where "xxx"
indicates which file compression utility was used, normally "zip". In
this case, use the suggestions given in the section titled, "INSTALL
FROM A COMPRESSED FILE".

If you prefer to install Money Math manually, see the section titled,
"INSTALL MANUALLY" below.

USING THE INSTALL PROGRAM

To install Money Math, start up Windows and put the Money Math floppy
disk in Drive A. Follow the directions in the sections below depending
on which version of Windows you are using:

Windows 3.1 or 3.11

From the Program Manager "File" menu, select "Run". Type "A:INSTALL" in
the dialog box that appears. After you press "ENTER" or click on the
"OK" button, the Install program will start on the floppy drive. If you
are installing from B drive, substitute the letter B for the letter A
above.

Windows95 or later

From the "Start" menu select "Run". Type "A:INSTALL" in the dialog box
that appears. After you press "ENTER" or click on the "OK" button, the
Install program will start on the floppy drive. If you are installing
from B drive, substitute the letter B for the letter A above.

The Install program will copy the Money Math files to a new directory
titled "MONEY" on your hard drive (C:). You will have an opportunity to
revise the directory and installation location. Click on the "OK"
button or press the "ENTER" key to start the file transfer to the
directory you selected.

Using Windows 3.1 or 3.11, the Install program will also create a
Windows Group named "Money Math" and put the Money Math icons in that
group. You may move the Money Math icons to another group later if
desired.

Using Windows95 or later, a menu item titled, "Money Math" will be
added to the "Start Menu" with five "shortcuts" to the first five files
listed above.

INSTALL FROM A COMPRESSED FILE

If you received Money Math as a single file such as MOMATH5.ZIP, copy
this file to a temporary directory on your hard disk. Next, decompress
the file using a decompression utility program. The DOS command might
be PKUNZIP MOMATH5.ZIP if that compression utility was used to compress
the file. Several other compression/decompression utilities are in
common use. You can probably obtain the correct utility from the same
place you obtained the Money Math archive.

If the Money Math archive file name is MOMATH5.EXE, you decompress it
by running it from your temporary directory as you would any DOS
program. No other utilities are needed.

Once the archive file is decompressed, you should have the eleven files
listed above in your temporary directory. Now you can install Money
Math as described above in the section titled, "USING THE INSTALL
PROGRAM". Instead of typing "A:INSTALL" in the "Run" dialog box, you
would type, "C:\TMP\INSTALL", where C:\TMP is the current hard drive
and directory where the eleven files are located.

INSTALL MANUALLY

If you prefer to install Money Math manually, copy the first seven
files listed above to the directory of your choice. Using Windows 3.1
or 3.11, create five icons for the first five files listed above and
install them in the Windows Group of your choice by using the Program
Manager "File" menu and selecting "New..."

Using Windows95 or later, create a "Start" menu item by adding a folder
called "Money Math" in Windows\Start Menu\Progams\ folder. Now, add
five "shortcuts" to the "Money Math" folder for the first five files
you copied to the directory of your choice above.

RUNNING MONEY MATH

To start Money Math, double-click the mouse on the Money Math icon for
Windows 3.1 or 3.11. For Windows95/98, from the "Start" menu, select
"Programs". Now select "Money Math" from the menu and again select
"Money Math" from the next menu.

Selecting "Exit" from the "File" menu item closes Money Math. You can
also use the Alt+F4 key combination to do the same thing.

UNINSTALL MONEY MATH

Windows 3.1 or 3.11

First delete each icon in the Money Math Group by selecting it and then
pressing the Delete key. When all the icons are gone, delete the Group
by pressing the Delete key again.

Next, from the File Manager, delete the directory containing the Money
Math files. First, select the directory and then remove it by pressing
the Delete key. Money Math places a file named, "monymath.ini" in the
Windows directory of your computer. You may also delete this file.

Windows95/98

Using Explorer, delete the directory containing the Money Math files.
First, select the directory and then delete it by pressing the Delete
key. Money Math places a file named, "monymath.ini" in the Windows
directory of your computer. You may also delete this file.

To remove the, Money Math item from the, Start menu, move to the,
Windows\Start Menu\Programs\ folder using Explorer. Expand the folder
by clicking on the "+". Now, click on the, Money Math folder and press
the delete key.

SHAREWARE

Shareware distribution gives users a chance to try software before
buying it. If you try Money Math and continue using it for over 30
days, you are required to purchase it by registering. Any fees you paid
to obtain the Shareware version were copying and distribution fees and
did not cover the registration payment required for continued use of
the program.

Shareware is a distribution method, not a type of software. You should
find software that suits your needs and pocketbook, whether it's
commercial or Shareware. The Shareware system makes fitting your needs
easier, because you can try before you buy. And because the overhead is
low, prices are low also. Shareware has the ultimate money-back
guarantee -- if you don't use the product, you don't pay for it.
