X-Netstat 2.1 for windows
10:47 PM 6/7/98

Intro
=====

This program is to show you your current, active internet connections. The program is
based on a similiar program made by the Windows NT TCP/IP team, but was text-only and much harder
to understand and use than this version.

X-Netstat makes it easy to see who is connected to you on the internet or your local network. It was
designed with ease of use and flexibility in mind.

Note that sometimes it may take up to 30 seconds to check all connections, and that
your computer may seem to hang a bit. This is normal, but if you feel that the program
really is frozen, hit Ctrl-Alt-Del and hit End Task on Net Stat.

Button explanations:
===============

Get Connections - refreshes the list of current connections
Close - exits the program
Tray - hides the program and puts an icon in the system tray
About - displays the about box

System tray commands:
==================

Restore - unhides the program and hides the system tray icon. A double-click will do this
Refresh - refreshes the list of current connections and shows the program when done
Exit - exits the program

Notes:
=====

A handy feature is to double-click an item of the current connections, and that connection info will be copied to the clipboard.

The status bar has 3 panels to it: The first is to inform you what is going on, the second is to
tell you how much time has gone by since the last refresh, and the third is to tell you how long
it took to check your current connections.
