GeoClock 7.3 by Joseph R. Ahlgren. Reg.Fee: $30
is a map of the earth which shows the sun's position day or night based on the actual time of day. The part of the Earth in sunlight is bright, and the rest is in darker shades. The position of the sun is also displayed. A variety of map backgrounds and other options are available, including polar projection maps. EGA, VGA, and SVGA display modes are supported, with the ability to control the color of the markers with the distance function. The display is updated from once per second to every 20 seconds, depending on the computer's CPU. City names, and local sunrise, sunset, the sun's azimuth and elevation may be displayed, and the time and rate of time may be changed. An extensive help system is also provided. Support is also provided for orthographic projection (which is a view from space).
