A great Windows UUEncoder/UUdecoder
No brag, just fact.

Highlights:
There are 286, 386, and 486 specific versions.

It really is a great UUDecoder and UUEncoder For Windows. Fast and small, but
fully cooperative. Won't tie up your system. No need to strip headers and trailers
from files when decoding. Supports more than one encoded file per input file, and
files in unlimited number of segments, etc. Optionally verifies file size and
checksums. With preferences dialogs for controlling launch of decoded file,
output directory, and whether to encode using table, size record, and backquotes
instead of spaces.

Uses Common Dialog for familiar user interface, and supports command line file
to decode. Also, supports drag and drop decode or encode, by user preference.
Does not auto split the encoded file. Maybe a later version. I would also like to
add 3D dialogs and a 32 bit version, but these too must wait for a later version.
(Borland has yet to release the Win95 version of their C++). It's currently at
version 1.0.0 dated 2 March 1995.

Installation

Windows 95
Unzip the distribution into a temporary directory.
Use the Add/Remove Programs option in Control Panel, select the Windows
Setup tab, click the Have Disk button, and install from the temporary directory.

Windows 3.x
Unzip the distribution into a temporary directory.
Move the resulting .EXE file into your Windows directory. Using File Manager,
File/Associate, assign the extension UUE to the WuuDoAll executable file. This
.EXE file is named WuuDoAll.EXE, WuuDo486.EXE, or WuuDo286.EXE,
depending on which version you have downloaded.

My most frequently asked questions
Here is a great large file text editor you can use to combine multi-part UUE files.
Use File Insert and don't worry about the file size. It's limited only by your memory
size.

In order to decode multi-piece uuencoded items, you must currently concatenate
those items into a single file. You may do this with either a large file text editor, or
perhaps more easily, with a DOS command. For example:
COPY FILE1.UUE+FILE2.UUE+... COMPFILE.UUE
And yes, you can still use DOS commands under Windows 95. Start MS-DOS
Prompt.

Here, IMHO, is the very best ZIP utility currently available.
