                        Installation

Since you have gotten this far, we assume that you have
unzipped the archive file. The instructions below assume that
you did this on a floppy disk, and that that disk is now in drive
a. If not, just replace references to a: with whatever drive and
path this material resides in.

Place the original disk in the appropriate drive, and
start Windows. Under the Windows File menu, select Run...., and
enter

a:setup

assuming that the original Math! disk is in drive a:.

The startup program will locate your Windows directory, and
will prompt you for the name of the directory into which
Math! will be installed. The default of

c:\math

can be changed to any other valid directory name if you do
not prefer this directory. All necessary changes will be
made automatically.

When installation is complete, Math! will appear in your
main Windows screen as a new program group. If you wish to move
Math! to another group, just use the Move option under the
Windows File menu. Store your original disk in a safe place,
and you are ready to enter the world of Math!
