Windows Switcher
Version 1.03b

Additional information for tiny sized version.
================================================

This version assumes that you own VB4 Professional or
Enterprise.

You will have to make a "Dummy Installation Disk", so
that you don't have to install VB4 on your new Win 95
installation. There are certain files you need in your
System folder and entries in your Registry.

Creating a "Dummy Installation Disk"
===========================

1. Create a new project with one form
2. Choose "Tools --> Custom Controls"
3. Click on "Show Selected Items Only"
4.  Remove all X's
5.  Click OK
6. Choose "Tools --> Custom Controls" again
7.  Click on:
     - Microsoft Common Dialog Control
     - Microsoft Windows Common Controls
8.  Click OK
9.  Choose "Tools --> References"
10. Make sure there's a X beside only these entries:
    - Visual Basic for Applications
    - Visual Basic Objects and procedures
    - Microsoft Common Dialog Control
    - Microsoft Windows Common Controls
11. Make an EXE of it (File --> Make EXE File)
12. Use the Application Setup Wizard to create Installation
    files in a clean folder.
13. Zip the installation files.

Installing Windows Switcher
=====================
Since you already have VB installed, you won't need to use
your self-made installation files for master Installation of
Win95. Simply install the files you downloaded, making sure
you follow the instructions about where to put Windows Switcher.

On your subsequent installations of Win95, first install your
"Dummy Installation" (you can then delete the dummy directory
and exe file). Next install Windows Switcher.

Have fun! You've saved about 1.6 Mb of downloading!
