             ----------------------------------
             Ouin'APPS ShareWare Programs Serie
             ----------------------------------

the Ouin'Apps are in fact 4 programs for differents purposes:

Ouin'FON shows all the fonts available on your computer, even if they
are not loaded. You can show fonts already in memory, fonts loaded
each time Windows starts and finally the fonts whose TTF files are
present on disk (showing both filename and font name). Then, you can
install them, with some options (locating TTF and FOT files, loading
each start or not) that are not available in other programs.

Ouin'INI is a soft especially designed for working with INI files (and
those using the same format such as HPJ or INF files). It shows a
list of the sections and the contents of them and then permit a lot
of functions like smart edit, sort, search, replace, print, comments,
undo and protections avoiding mistakes, supports clipboard, DDE,
associated files and so on. It actually makes job really fine !

Ouin'PIC shows all the bmp/ico/wmf/sld/slb images (and glyphs) available
in a directory, but also icons and bitmaps included in executables files!
And you can extract them or delete, rename, move files, convert icons
to bitmap, copy to clipboard, run associated or other external programs.
In fact, it is useful for developers who have to manage lots of bitmaps
and icons required for design buttons or dialog boxes...

Ouin'ZOR shows all the available informations about a file, especially
executable files: kind of file, module name, description, copyright,
version, exported functions, required DLL or VBX, resources, strings...
You also can view contents in text or hexa mode, delete, rename, move
files, run associated or other external programs. Useful for clean up
your windows directories, which contain lots of unknown programs!

They are ShareWare but complete programs, with help: you can
distribute it, freely try it over 21 days. If you enjoy it,
register and then the always more slow shareware reminder disappears.
And your license will be usable for all next releases...

And if your are a Compuserve or Internet member, or live in Europe, you
will receive the latest version, and a special gift (a collection of
1000 icons, 500 glyphs (bitmaps) and our 9 funny screen savers).

They are both available in French and English version.

REQUIEREMENT
------------

Each program within the Ouin'Apps is designed to run under Windows 3.1
or later (They should work with Windows 95 but no test have been made yet).
2 Mb of memory is a minimum and they use together less than 2 Mb
(about 300 to 500 Kb each) on your hard drive with help files.

The common Windows file CTL3DV2.DLL is used but it is not absolutely
necessary (some 3D effects will be replaced by 2D effects if absent).

HOW TO INSTALL
--------------

Ouin'Apps programs symply have to be copied in a particular directory

Please unzip the file you want and extract all archived files in the
same directory of your choice. Place programs in a Group of the Program
   Manager as you like...

2/ if you received the complete floppy disk version :
-----------------------------------------------------
Just execute the INSTALL.EXE program on the disk
and answer questions, choose the destination
directory and the programs you want to install.
A Program Group will be created in the Windows
Program Manager only if you do want one.

HOW TO UNINSTALL
----------------

Each program of the Ouin'Apps and their working files are all located
in the same directory. No DLL or VBX are installed in the Windows or
Windows\System directories. Even INI files are put in the same directory
than the executable file and not in the Windows directory except one :

OUINAPPS.INI (located in the Windows directory) which is shared by each
Ouin'Apps programs to store some common parameters and the registration
informations (for registred versions only).

So it is easy to uninstall this programs:
just delete files whose names match with OUIN*.*

But you also have to delete entries built by Ouin'INI in the Windows
registration data base (REG.DAT) associating INI files to Ouin'INI.
The key name is 'INIFile' and some other keys refer to it such as '.INI' or
'.HPJ'. It depends on the Extensions you have associated to Ouin'INI.
Run REGEDIT.EXE to edit the registration DataBase and remove those entries or
you can use too the File Manager and associate extensions to nothing or to
another program. If you don't do that (it is not so important) launching the
files with those extensions (by double click from the File Manager) will not
work any more, that's all.
