IcoShow, an overview
--------------------

. You can manage a large count of icons (up to 16,384 icons in more than
100 windows) including within icon files or libraries (Exe/Dll/Nil/Icl).

. IcoShow arranges icons in windows, one window per directory including
	  icons.

. You can select and/or exclude icons for/from processing (copy, move,
write to a library) in one or all windows using wildcards (?/*/[]).

. You can select icons for other processing (rename, edit) one by one.

. IcoShow prints selected icons from current window to any matrix,
laserjet, postscript or ink-jet printer. You may also print in color
if your printer can handle the output.

. You can drag icons direct to program manager (Windows 3.1 and NDW 2.0
	  are supported).

. If you click on the right mouse button, IcoShow displays a Properties
	  Menu of the current icon.

. IcoShow will save settings and the current desktop for the next
	  session to the file ICOSHOW.INI.

Installing IcoShow
------------------

a) Run SETUP.EXE. This program will prompt you for the destination
directory and copy all necessary files to it.

b) If you have problems using SETUP:

The following files used for IcoShow must be in a directory you choose:

              ICOSHOW.EXE Main program
              ICOSHOW.HLP Help file
ICOSHOW.INI Ini file (always in directory of EXE),
if it not exists, IcoShow will create one.

Special feature:

BWCC.DLL If you have this library in a directory
where Windows can find it, IcoShow will
use Borland's Resources. If not, IcoShow
will display dialog boxes which do not
					use Borland's Resources.

CTL3D.DLL If you have this library in a directory
where Windows can find it, IcoShow will
					use Microsoft's 3D controls.

Example: Your Windows directory is C:\WIN. Then type the following commands
	   from DOS prompt :

                     md c:\win\tools
                     copy a:\icoshow*.* c:\win\tools

You can use the batch file ICOINST.BAT to do that. Start this with

           a:\icoinst a: c:\win\tools

On place of c:\win\tools you can use another directory (on place of a: you can
use b:).

without any restrictions. IcoShow shows the registration screen only at begin
while it reads some directories from the last session.
After the evaluation you must quit the registration screen each time when you
start IcoShow by hitting the RETURN key.

I hope you enjoy the program.
