HPXMACRO.COM clears all macros from your H.P. Laserjet printer.

Syntax: HPXMACRO [123]
The optional parameter is the LPT number you want to reset.
Don't use an LPT port that you don't have!

HPXMACRO works on H.P. Laserjet III printers.
It might work on other Laserjet printers, but I don't have them, so
I don't know.

If you like this program and use it a lot, please send $9 to the
address below. In return you'll get a disk with a version of
HPXMACRO without the obnoxious registration reminder, as well as
the satisfaction of knowing you've done the right thing.

If you really like the program and want to send $24, the disk
will include the entire series of HP escape code programs. So far
these include:

      Name Purpose
      HPRESET Resets the printer.
      HPXMACRO Clears out all macros.
HPXFONT Clears out all soft fonts.
HP16 Sets the pitch to 16.66 cpi.
HPLAND Sets the orientation to landscape.
HP8LPI Sets the line spacing to 8 lpi.
HPSEND Sends any other codes you can think of.
LPRESET Sends a reset code to Epson-compatible printers.
(I know that's not H.P., but some people like
                        it anyway.)

I'll be glad to create programs that will send various commands
to various printers. If you have a request, please request it.
