MG X-It 1.0
Copyright (C) 1995 Matt Goldstein
All Rights Reserved

First of all, I would like to thank you for trying X-It. There's a lot of
shareware out there, and I'm happy you've decided to give mine a try. I hope it
was exactly what you were looking for.

With that in mind, you must read and agree to the information provided in
LICENSE.TXT before using this software. Sorry about the legal junk.

REQUIREMENTS:

Windows 3.1 or later
VBRUN300.DLL
THREED.VBX *
(The two files above are readily available in Library #1 of both the WinShare
& WinFun forums on CompuServe, although you probably already have them in
your Windows' System directory. If not, please download the one(s) you do not
have and place the file(s) in your Windows' System directory.)

INSTALLATION:

1. Either create or choose an existing directory for X-It to reside in (this
documentation will assume you have created a directory named C:\X-IT)

2. Copy the following files to that directory:

FILE: DESCRIPTION:

X-IT.EXE Main executable file
X-IT.HLP Help file
LICENSE.TXT ASCII text file providing License Agreement
ORDER.TXT ASCII text file whose printed contents will provide you with a
               Registration/Order form.
README.TXT This ASCII text file
FILE_ID.DIZ ASCII text file for BBS SysOps

3. Copy the following files to your Windows' System directory (usually
"C:\WINDOWS\SYSTEM") only if you do not have a previous version there, or
the date of the previous version is earlier than the date of these files
(i.e., if the version of SIMPLE3D.VBX you already have is more recent than
the one you received with X-It, do NOT overwrite the original file):

SIMPLE3D.VBX Support file
THREED.VBX * Support file

4. In Windows' Program Manager, select a group where you would like X-It's icon
to be placed. To have X-It load automatically, everytime you use Windows,
place it in your Program Manager's StartUp group.

5. Select FILE NEW from Program Manager's Menu, and choose NEW ITEM.
DESCRIPTION should be set to "MG X-It" and set COMMAND LINE to
   "C:\X-IT\X-IT.EXE"

6. Once again, choose FILE NEW and select NEW ITEM. Set DESCRIPTION to
"MG X-It Help" and COMMAND LINE to "WINHELP C:\X-IT\X-IT.HLP"

To run X-It, double-click its Program Manager icon.

* THREED.VBX is NOT included in all distribution packages. This is due to the
fact that most users already have a copy located in their Windows' System
Directory. Therefore, including this file would increase the time required to
  download X-It.
