  FAMILY MEDICAL JOURNAL
  -----------------------------------------------------------------------
  Thank You:
Thank you for trying the Family Medical Journal. Family Medical Journal
lets you take charge of your own medical records. And not only for your-
self but for every member of your family. It is obvious that healthcare
professionals require accurate information to provide the best possible
health care. But with different family members using different doctors,
the increasingly high mobility rate of families (and your doctor),
job changes, and the like, no one really has your "records", do they?
Family Medical Journal puts you in charge of your family's medical
history. Now you can know exactly when Jimmy had his last tetanous shot
or when and where you had your last x-ray. This will not only save you
countless hours (think about filing for life insurance and having to
dredge up all these facts) but could well effect the type and extent of
   medical treatment you receive.

  Getting started:
If you are reading this, it means you downloaded this program from
CompuServe, America Online or some other BBS. It also means you have
already used PKUNZIP to unzip the file you downloaded. Hopefully you
have unzipped this file into a separate directory where nothing else
exists. It's less confusing that way. We suggest you create the
directory C:\FMED and copy all the files you unzipped into that
directory. Don't forget to delete the file FMED.ZIP since you no longer
   need it.

To run the program, enter Windows, go to the File Manager, and double-
click on FMED.EXE. That's really all there is to it to try the program
out. If you have problems with the program executing, try moving the
files that end with DLL and VBX extentions into C:\windows\system. If
you do this, make sure you do not copy over a newer version of the
   file.

  Included Files:
   The following files are included:

     CSCALNDR.VBX COMMDLG.DLL CLICK.WAV
     CMDIALOG.VBX MHRUN400.DLL CUCKOO.WAV
     WAVE1.VBX QPRO200.DLL DING.WAV
     MHGLBX.VBX
     EZTAB.VBX FMED.EXE TRM.DAT TCT.DAT
     THREED.VBX FMED.HLP DIR.DAT FAM.DAT
     MHIN200.VBX README.TXT ETY.DAT PRO.DAT
     MHGCMB.VBX BBS.TXT EVT.DAT
     MHINREL.VBX

These are all the files you will need to run the program EXCEPT
that you will need VBRUN300.DLL. You probably already have VNRUN300.DLL.
If not you can probably download from your BBS. VBRUN300.DLL is included
with the registered version. Additional data files will be created in
the FMED directory as you use the program. The program as downloaded
contains some sample data so you can see how it works. You can delete
and play with this data and add your own. The registered version does
not contain this sample data and will not overwrite info you put in
while you are testing the program.
