          Black Gate Publishing(TM) presents

                      DICEMASTER(TM)

           the dice-rolling program for Windows.

HOW TO INSTALL DICEMASTER:
--------------------------

DiceMaster probably came to you as a ZIP archive, including these
files:

DICE.EXE The DiceMaster program
DICE.TXT This information text file
THREED.VBX	A Visual Basic runtime file

You may place DICE.EXE and DICE.TXT anywhere you like, perhaps in a
directory called C:\GAMES or C:\UTILS. It's up to you where you put
them and what you call the directory.

THREED.VBX must be put in the WINDOWS\SYSTEM directory. If you
already have a copy of THREED.VBX, you should only the keep the more
recent of the two. Delete the old one (or put it on a floppy disk),
and put the more recent one in the WINDOWS\SYSTEM directory.

You also need the file VBRUN300.DLL. This is a very large file
required by many programs, and so is not included in this archive.
If you don't already have a copy of VBRUN300.DLL, you can probably
get it from the same place you got DiceMaster.

DiceMaster is a well-behaved little program; it doesn't change any
of your INI files, and it doesn't leave any other files on your hard
drive. If you want to delete DiceMaster, simply delete DICE.EXE and
DICE.TXT. THREED.VBX and VBRUN300.DLL are used by many other
programs, so you should not erase these files.

WHAT DICEMASTER IS:
-------------------

As a service to our customers, we freely distribute this handy
little program. You may roll any size dice from 2-sided to
100-sided. You may roll up to 99 dice of any type, and further roll
that "group" of dice up to 99 times. DiceMaster keeps track of all
the subtotals and the grand total.

DiceMaster is useful when running large battles, or in games which
require large numbers of peculiar-shaped dice. It can also add
modifiers to individual dice or to entire "group" dice rolls.

DiceMaster is freely distributed: you don't ever have to buy
anything to use it, but the program itself remains the property of
Black Gate Publishing. If you paid someone for this program, you
probably paid them to find it and send it to you: Black Gate
Publishing did not receive (and doesn't want) any money for
DiceMaster.
