[BARCOD] WunderBAR (Ward Mundy Software, ASP; $20) is an Avery Label bar code printing utility for Windows. It supports 2 of 5 and 3 of 9 barcode styles, and supports most Windows-compatible laser printers. Requires VBRUN300. [CM_WIN17] CodeMaker for Windows 1.7 (Quinbar, Kirk; $54) is a barcode generation system for Windows. It will print barcodes on either a dot matrix printer or an HP compatible laser printer, and supports 3 of 9, Int 2 of 5, UPC-A, UPC-E, EAN8, and EAN13 barcode styles. You can print a pre-defined quantity of the same label or a quantity of labels based on a starting serial number, and all information can be saved to disk for future use. Four predefined label sizes based on Avery specifications are supported, and custom label sizes can also be added. [WBAR] Windows BarCode Generator 2.03d (Stellar Technologies; $15) generates bar codes (3 of 9, UPC, Postnet, etc) that can be copied to the Windows Clipboard. Once in the Clipboard, you can then paste the barcode into other programs such as Windows Write, Paintbrush, and other Windows programs that can accept bitmaps or metafiles from the Windows Clipboard. Includes VBRUN300. -----Envelopes [ENVADRS] EnvAddress (Conzett, Hans; $48) organizes addresses, prints envelopes, and dials phone numbers. It can store up to 15,000 characters of information with each address and can import Windows cardfiles. VBRUN is required. [ENVLOGO] Envelogo 1.3 (JMP Systems; $29) prints envelopes with a fancy logo return address. You can set up several template files for different logos, and addresses can be imported via Windows Clipboard or manually typed in. Envelopes can be any size, and graphics and text can be placed anywhere you want on the template. VBRUN100 is included. [PRNTENV] PrintEnvelope (Maurer Associates ASP; $30) will print any size envelope or label on any printer supported by Windows. It will work equally well with Dot matrix, Laser, and Postscript printers. Features include a WYSIWYG interface, graphic importation of logos, full cut and paste functions, and access to all available Windows printer fonts, sizes, and attributes. VBRUN is included. [PSTMST] PostMaster 1.2 (Tropical Software, reg. fee: $10) is an envelope printing program which prints on all size envelopes, using a laser or dot matrix printers. It has its own file system for storing addresses, and even a quick preview window before you select the address to use. Requires VBRUN300. [WINGRAB] WinGRAB 2.0 (ZPAY Payroll Systems ASP; $55) is the Windows verson of Grab Plus, an envelope addressing program. [WINVLOP] Winvelope 4.3 (McCullum, James E.; $24) allows you to capture an address from any Windows document or screen and print the address on an envelope. You can also manually input an address on the fly or access an address book setup with Cardfile to select an address for printing. It supports both center and side feed manual paper trays. Features include printing an envelope with or without a return address, individual font and attribute control over return and addressee text, provisions for both a primary and alternate return address, adjustable address positioning, auto-landscape, full Windows font support, color printer support, graphic support (PCX, TIF, TGA, WMF, and EPS formats), and selectable paper bins. Printer output is very fast because it prints directly to the printer port without accessing Print Manager. [LABELEZ] Label Ease 3.1a (Robinson, Anthony J.; $15) is a simple label printer for Windows. Cut, copy, and paste functions are supported. [LLSW] LazaLabl 2.0 allows you to position and edit text and graphics on business cards or labels. You simply type in the text and click on the chosen sheet wherever you desire. You can mix labels on the sheet, use partly-used sheets, superimpose layers of text for mixed font effects, import ASCII text, and more. Supported card/lable layouts include Avery, Compulabel, MACO, and Power Papers, or you can design your own layout. (SoftCentre, Inc, reg. fee: $22) [LBD] Labels by Design 1.0 (Spicer, John A.; $20) is a unique address label printing program for Windows 3.1. It can use PrintMaster, Print Shop, and New Print Shop graphics as well as TrueType fonts. Graphics can also be imported from the clipboard or captured directly from the screen. This is designed for dot-matrix printers, and can print single labels or up to 9999 labels at a time. A preview function allows you to view graphic files before importing, and a sample graphic library is included. NOTE: this version does not support FILE OPEN or FILE SAVE. [LSRLABL] Laser Labels 1.0 (Evers, Dave; $10) lets you create diskette labels on a laser printer. You can print either 3.5" or 5.25" labels using single sheet labels. Font styles and sizes are easily adjusted. You can print custom labels with your own chosen text, or directory listing labels, or a combination of both. You can make each label different or use the same settings and text for each one. [MULTILBL] MultiLabel 3.0 (Campbell, George; $20) is a WYSIWYG label designing program. It supports standard Avery Laser Labels and custom label layouts. You can use any font available in Windows, import clip art, and preview clip art before loading onto the label. This program contains the PIF and Icon files necessary for installing on Windows 3.0, but will also work on non-Windows supported machines. [XLABEL] Xlabel 2.03 (Tenax Software Engineering; $35) is an easy-to-use laser label printing program for Windows. It can print from a file or screen input and can use pre-defined or user-defined label specifications. -----Specific Printing [9VIAWIN] ViaPrint 1.5 (Viable Software Alternatives; $30) is an all-purpose Windows printing utility. It can be used to print Avery Laser Labels, flyers, business cards, audio cassette/video tape labels, and much more. (Graphic Impact, reg. fee: $23) -----Text File Printing [CD_PRNT] CodePrint 2.20 (Micro Software Solutions; $20) prints files with many options: portrait or landscape paper orientation, multiple columns, headers and footers, the ability to specify font, style and size, border and column dividers, margin setting, word wrap, drag-and-drop, and more. Requires Windows 3.1. [DDP] Drag and Drop Printer 1.0 (FLFSoft, Inc. ASP; $15) allows you to quickly and easily print ASCII files. You simply drag a text file from File Manager and drop it onto the program's icon. Features include full font/margin control, and the ability to print custom heading and footings. Requires WIN31. [FEDEZ] FedEZ 1.2 (Fischer, John; $5) allows you to create, store, and print Federal Express airbills on a dot-matrix printer. You can create templates for applications which require only a few changes, or start from scratch and build a new form. You will need a supply of Federal Express airbills (revision 1/91 o r 4/91 only), and a printer that is able to set a 5.5" page length. VBRUN is required. [FPRNTVB] FilePrint 1.51 (Kapune, Albert; $0) can directly print multiple copies of any plain ASCII file. It can also process a printer-specific PRN file as prepared by WFW, COREL DRAW!, or other program (using the Print-ToFile option). [QPRINT] Qprint 1.0 (Alpine Electronics; $10) is a print formatting utility for Windows. It allows you to quickly print ASCII files in a variety of user-defined formats. You can control margins, word wrap, line numbering, tab spacing, header information, and more. The formats are automatically chosen based on the file extension, allowing "C" and "H" files to print with one set of formatting rules, while TXT files print with a different format. Several files may be selected to print at one time, and are spooled using Print Manager. [TXTPRNT] TextPrint (Lapis Software; $15) is an ASCII text printing utility. Features include a preview function, access to all printer fonts, clipboard support, and the ability to print files up to one megabyte long. It can collect text from any number of applications and store all of it in a buffer until ready to print. [WINPRNT] WinPrint 1.51 (Kindel, Charles E. Jr.; $25) lets you print plain ASCII text files from within Windows. It will add page breaks, page numbers, file revision date, and current date. It takes advantage of the Windows Spooler and allows multiple files to be printed as one job. Other features include multiple column printing, Windows help, and drag drop capabilities from the Windows 3.1 file manager.
