The images are very large (none of them fit on a 1024x768 display), and they lost resolution when reduced in size, so they are not suitable for casual desktop publishing. Also see MCART2_1.ZIP for the same files in CGM format. [PCC_PCX] PCC/PCX Graphics (Various; $?) is a collection of hundreds of graphics files in PCC and PCX format. These files can be used by all major graphics and DTP programs. While there are a few high-resolution graphics that will look very good on laser, most of these files are better suited for printing with dot matrix printers. [SOFTSCN] SoftScene PCX Artwork (Hornback, Stephen A.; $10) is a set of 29 hand-drawn graphic pictures, mainly of outdoor scenes, in PCX. [SPORTS] Sports ($0) is a collection of sports and recreation clip art in PCX format. It includes illustrations of bowling, canoeing, sailing, scuba diving, tennis, golf, ping pong, skiing, sky diving, and more. [ST_SAMP] ST_Samp (Scandalous Technology; $5) is a set of digitized ornate capital letters, each in a different style. Each letter was selected from a complete alphabet of 26 letters in the same style. All 26 alphabets are available. Letters from this set could be used as dropcaps. With the entire alphabet, they could be used for headlines, etc. The quality of the letters is excellent, as you can see from the example shown. The letters are in the .PCX that can be read by most drawing and DTP programs, including WordPerfect. [STLTR1] STLTR1 (Scandalous Technology; $5] is a set of digitized ornate capital letters in a face reminiscent of ITC Garamond on a floral surround typical of Fifteenth Century Italian or French initials. The files are in PCC format suitable for use with Pagemaker, WordPerfect and other programs.
