Information about Hack-It v4.0 beta 8
-------------------------------------
FIRSTLY:
I want any and all suggestions you guys have. This program is basically made by you, and I want it to have all the features and information you want in it. Let me know what features you think I should add, and any information you want to submit to the help file. It will help my efforts immensely, and maybe get you a little credit on the side ;)

Much has been added to this one, folks, and there's no good reference to it yet. I've provided a few files in the zip to help you, and the Help file will give some clues as to what's changed, but I am currently working on documenting the information.
UPDATED INFORMATION WILL BE POSTED ON MY WEB PAGE!
Please check back often as I'll be putting much information and updates here.

Here's a rundown of changes you should immediately be aware of:

Settings:
All settings are now stored in the Registry. There's no way to convert old settings as of yet. (This applies only to the PRO version of Hack-It. If you need help upgrading let me know.)

Automatic Functions:
Automatic functions are now script-based, rather than option-based. I will be adding more help and possibly a script-building wizard very soon, but for now just use the small reference I've provided in HackScript.txt

Registration Fee:
The registration fee has increased to $20 for this release. As always, people already registered need not worry. For the rest of you, jump on the band wagon now! If I find a publisher for the full version of this, who KNOWS how much you'll be paying?

On-Line Registration COMING SOON:
I've got this in the works. If you would register online but not if you have to use snail mail, let me know. It would help boost my energy in this direction.

For more information, see the web page or the help file.

Known Bugs:
-----------

On very active systems (lots of windows being created and destroyed) with many of Hack-It's settings turned on (Child Windows, Titleless Windows, etc) Hack-It has a tendency to lock itself and the system up. I'm workin on tracking it down, but for now, if your system locks up for no apparent reason, check if Hack-It is locked. If so, kill it and start another one. On systems with low to average activity this hasn't been a problem.

Autofunctions via HackScript are flaky. I've never written a scripting language, and this was my first stab. Expect better versions soon, and possibly a pluggable interface to other languages as well (don't hold your breath.)
