effective family planning.

SYSTEM REQUIREMENTS:
--------------------
CPU: 486 (minimum)
Windows Version: 3.1 or Windows 95
Memory: 8 MB or more
Disk space: 4 MB to install, additional space required for data

GETTING ASSISTANCE
------------------
Should you require assistance with the installation of the program or its
general use, please send Internet e-mail to "support@lifecyclesoft.com"

LifeCycle comes with an Internet Assistance option that can be accessed by
clicking on "Help" in the menu bar and selecting the "Internet Assistance"
option.

INSTALLATION INSTRUCTIONS
-------------------------
Double-click the LCFP1301.EXE file to launch the installation program. You
will be guided through the installation process and when complete, you
may optionally launch LifeCycle right away. The installation program will
create an item called "LifeCycle Fertility Predictor" within a program
group called "LifeCycle Software".

Within Windows 95, LifeCycle can be launched after installation by clicking
on the "Start" button, selecting "Programs" and selecting the folder
"LifeCycle Software", then clicking on the "LifeCycle Fertility Predictor"
program item.

Within Windows 3.1, simply open the "LifeCycle Software" program group and
double-click the "LifeCycle Fertility Predictor" program icon.

On both systems, you can remove LifeCycle Fertility Predictor and its
associated files by double-clicking the "Uninstall" icon in the program
group.

BEFORE USING - IMPORTANT!
-------------------------
Before using LifeCycle, you will need to acquire a basal thermometer.
These are highly accurate thermometers that can be purchased in most
pharmacies for less than $15.00. LifeCycle recommends purchasing the
digital variety, as they are much more convenient than the mercury-type.
If you are trying to get pregnant and have spoken with your doctor about
it, you have probably already been advised to purchase one of these
thermometers -- they are commonly used.

If you cannot locate a pharmacy with a basal thermometer, the help file
contains information on purchasing one from LifeCycle Software, LLC.

HOW TO USE LIFECYCLE FERTILITY PREDICTOR
----------------------------------------
LifeCycle permits free use during a 30-day trial period. Actually, you
can use the program for as long as you like, but it will only allow you
to enter a maximum of 30 days of temperature and/or menstruation
records.

To learn how to use LifeCycle, you should read the Quick Start within the
help file. In a nutshell, it tells you how and when to take your
temperature and record your menstruation days.

After your 30 day trial period you will need to purchase LifeCycle to
continue using it. You may purchase it at any time prior to the end of
the trial period, as well. LifeCycle comes with an automated purchase
system that can automatically convert the trial version to a full
working copy after charging your credit card over the Internet. You may
optionally print out an order form and fax or mail it in, as well.

HOW IT WORKS
------------
LifeCycle makes predictions using the scientifically-based methods of
sympto-thermal natural family planning practices. These methods rely
on a few telltale signs in a woman's body to determine when ovulation
is approaching and when it has actually taken place. The first two of
these signs are menstruation and cervical mucus -- they help determine
when ovulation is approaching. The third sign is basal body temperature
-- it helps determine when ovulation has actually taken place. Users can
also just rely on menstruation and temperature alone to make these
predictions. If you would like more detail as to how these signs /
symptoms are interpreted, please see the Natural Family Planning Primer
within the LifeCycle help file.

TERMS OF USE
------------
All users of LifeCycle Fertility Predictor must consent to the license
agreement included with the software, otherwise, it will not be installed.
The full text of this agreement and the limited warranty can be found in
several places: within the setup program, within the on-line registration
tool, within the help file, and from the help menu within the program.

Essentially, these documents state that fertility prediction is not an
exact procedure, and that LifeCycle makes no warranties, expressed or
implied, regarding it's fitness for this purpose. LifeCycle is warranted
to accurately interpret a user's symptoms based upon the sympto-thermal
method of natural family planning (STM-NFP). While STM-NFP has
experienced phenomenal success in this arena, like all methods of family
planning, it is not 100% effective.

The only 100% effective method of pregnancy prevention is total
abstinence, and there is no 100% effective method of pregnancy
achievement. The effectiveness of all methods of family planning
depend to a great degree upon the actions of the individual.
