INTRODUCTION

Who I Am In Christ is a program that we hope will help Christians to fulfill
the biblical mandate to "be transformed by the renewing of your mind." It
is designed to begin when Windows starts up and it will display 1 of 365
affirmations based on scripture. (The freeware version only includes 30
affirmations.)  Also included is a scripture notebook which includes all 
the affirmations, the complete scriptures which each affirmation is 
based on and a place to store notes.

GETTING STARTED

Since you are viewing this file..we assume that you have uncompressed the 
software to c:\whoIam

The files included with the program are:

WhoIAm.exe - runs the program
Order.txt- an order form
README.txt- the file you are reading
hlom.zip- a file containing information on Healing Love Outreach Ministries..
          use Winzip or another unzipping utility to uncompress this file.

To get Who I Am In Christ to begin automatically when Windows starts up,
follow these instructions:

Windows95

1. Click the start button and then point to Settings.
2. Click Taskbar, and then click the Start Menu Programs tab.
3. Click Add and type in c:\whoIam\whoIam.exe whoIam.tkn
4. Click Next, and then double-click the StartUp folder.
5. Type the name you want to see on the StartUp Menu and then click Finish.
6. Restart Windows

On every startup of Windows95, Who I Am In Christ should begin automatically.

Windows 3.1

1. In Notepad open the file c:\windows\win.ini
2. Locate this section 
[windows]
The first line of that section normally reads:
spooler=yes
3. Just after this line, insert this new line:
load=c:\whoIam\whoIam.exe whoIam.tkn
4. Save the textfile "win.ini". 
5. Restart Windows.

On every startup of Windows 3.1, Who I Am In Christ should 
begin automatically.

Menu Command Reference

HELP----> help-click on this to view this file

HELP----> order form-click on this to print an order form which will allow
		     you to purchase the complete version of Who I Am In 
		     Christ via check or money order.

HELP----> About Who I Am In Christ-click here to view copyright and contact
				   information.

HELP---->Healing Love Outreach Ministries-click here to view information
					  about Healing Love Outreach
					  Ministries.

COLOR---->Use this command to change the color of the main Who I Am in Christ
	  Window to: red, dark pink, dark red, dark gray, dark blue, blue, cyan,
	  yellow, or green. The last color you choose before quitting the
	  program, will be saved until another color is chosen.
			
FONT---->Use this command to change the font of the text in the main Who I Am
	 In Christ Window to: arial, courier, helvetica, aria, times or
         original. The last font you chose before quitting the program, will
	 be saved until another font is chosen.

NOTEBOOK---->Scripture Notebook-use this command to start up the Scripture
                                Notebook.  For more information on this
				feature view the Scripture Notebook section 
				below.

EXIT---->Exit-use this command to exit the program.

EDIT---->You will only need to use two of these commands.  

EDIT---->Select All- highlights everything in the main Who I Am In Christ 
		     Window.	

EDIT---->Print Selection- prints everything that is highlighted in the 
			  window. Since there is no regular print command,
			  this is what you will have to do if you would like
			  to print any of the affirmations.

SCRIPTURE NOTEBOOK

The Scripture Notebook contains a record of all the affirmations included in
Who I Am In Christ along with the complete text of the scripture that each
affirmation is based on and a place for any personal notes.

A sample record looks like this:

Luke 10:20  (NKJV)

"Nevertheless do not rejoice in this,  that the spirits are
subject to you, but rather rejoice because your names
are written in heaven."

Affirmation:  "I am a believer in Jesus Christ and my
name is written in heaven, I rejoice in this."

Menu Command Reference

OPTIONS---->previous- click here to view the previous record

OPTIONS---->next- use this command to view the next record

OPTIONS---->find- use this command to search for a specific record.

OPTIONS---->save- use this command to save a record. 
		  (Or push the save button)

*TO ADD YOUR NOTES TO ANY RECORD, simply type after the "Notes:" label and
then push save.  The Scripture Notebook will also automatically save all
records when you exit the program.

EXIT---->Exit-use this command to exit the Scripture Notebook.

HELP----> help-click on this to view the Scripture Notebook portion of this
	       file.
