REGISTRATION: GO SWREG (13698)

The version of Home Movies you have downloaded is crippled: it will only
allow you to store 20 movies, and it will not allow you to use the program
more than 10 times (you may, however, reinstall the software to continue
using it after this period). To order the full version of Home Movies,
which will be sent to you electronically, you can GO SWREG and register

DESCRIPTION

Home Movies for Windows is a feature rich, intuitive cataloging system
for all your home video needs! If you have more than a dozen movies,
or multiple movies on a single tape, you know how frustrating it can be
to locate the exact movie you're in the mood for watching. For more
than just a few movies, card catalogs are tiresome, and not worth using.
If you're in this situation, don't despair! There's hope yet - with Home
Movies for Windows, you can easily catalog thousands of movies and
retrieve information about any one of them with just a few clicks of your
mouse button!

Home Movies is capable of storing a title, star list, description,
type, index number, year, and an additional blank number field with all
of your movies. Home Movies can search through its list of movies
based on any one of these fields, which makes it easy to pinpoint any
movie you have that you know something about. Even if you don't know
anything about the movie you're looking for, you can search with all
the fields left blank, which will produce an alphabetized list of all
movies you've entered.

USING HOME MOVIES

The Home Movies interface is divided into three menus:

File
	Exit
Movies
        Add... F1
        Remove... F2
        Search... F3
Help
	About

The File | Exit item exits Home Movies, asking if you truly want to
quit. Help | About merely displays the name of the author of the
software and a copyright notice.

Movies | Add is the item which you will use to add movies to the movie
list. After selecting this item, you will be presented with a dialog
that will allow you to enter your movie. This dialog will contain the
movie type, which you can select by clicking on it, the title, the star
list, the description, and several other fields. Each of these fields
can be edited by clicking on them with the mouse. When you are done
with a field DO NOT PRESS ENTER! Instead, click on the next field you
wish to edit, as pressing enter stores the movie. When you are done
with the movie, click OK if you want to save the movie, or CANCEL if
you've changed your mind and don't want to store it.

The Movies | Remove item will remove a movie from the movie list. If
you've discarded a movie and want to remove it from the movie list,
click this item. You will be presented with a "SEARCH" dialog, which
looks like the Movies | Add dialog. You will be able to search for the
movie you want to delete by filling in any one of the fields, or
alternatively, by searching with none of the fields filled in, which
will bring up a list of all the available movies. Once you have filled
in whatever fields you wish to, select OK - or if you don't really want
to make the search, select CANCEL. If you select OK, and Home Movies
finds movies in the list that match your search criteria, you will be
presented with a movie dialog. You can view the list of movies by
selecting NEXT or LAST at the bottom of the dialog. Press REMOVE when
you find the one you want to delete.

The Movies | Search dialog operates in much the same fashion as the
Movies | Remove dialog does. That is, it prompts you with a search
dialog and when you're done displays the list of selected movies one at
a time through a dialog. When you're done browsing the movies, select
DONE. If you see a movie you want to alter, edit it as normal, and it
will be saved when you press NEXT, LAST, or DONE.

REQUIREMENTS

Home Movies for Windows version 1.3 requires a 386 or higher computer
running Windows 3.1 with Win32s, Windows 95, or Windows NT, with at
least 2 MB of free RAM and twice the disk space. If you want to store
thousands of movies, you may have to have additional RAM and disk
space.
