         C
         DELPHI
           DEMOS
         VB
           DEMOS

Copy the DLL file FBCALC.DLL (located in the FBUILDER directory) to
\WINDOWS\SYSTEM, or some other directory in the search path of Windows
or your development projects.

The following are product specific instructions for installing
FormulaBuilder for use in particular programming environments.

DELPHI

The following procedure is also outlined in the online help. From the Contents
page, select "Using FormulaBuilder", the select the hyperlink "Delphi". The
topic "Installing FormulaBuilder to The Component Palette" will outline the
procedure. To reiterate :

To install the FormulaBuilder components to the Delphi component palette :

1. Go to the \FBUILDER\DELPHI directory

2. Copy the *.DCU files into the LIB subdirectory of your main Delphi
directory. You may opt to leave them in their current directory, and
add this directory to your component search path.

3. Copy the file FBUILDER.HLP to the BIN subdirectory of your main Delphi
directory (the directory in which the DELPHI.EXE file is located).

4. Copy the file FBUILDER.KWF to the HELP subdirectory of your main Delphi
      directory (e.g. C:\DELPHI\HELP).

5. Use HELPINST to install FBUILDER.KWF into the Delphi MultiHelp
system. This program can be located in the group created for Delphi
      when it was installed.

6. From within DELPHI, choose Options|Install Components from the
      main menu bar.

7. Press the 'Add' Button.

8. Type in the location and name of the FBREG.PAS or FBREG.DCU file. This
is the file which registers the FormulaBuilder components with Delphi.
If you chose not copy the files as outlined in the second step, it will
be in the \FBUILDER\DELPHI directory, otherwise look in the directory to
      which the files were copied.
You may also press the 'Browse' button to activate a File Selection
dialog box to choose the file.

9. Press OK. The component library COMPLIB.DCL will be rebuilt to
contain the FormulaBuilder components. The components will appear on a
      component page labeled FBUILDER.

There are demos located in the \FBUILDER\DELPHI\DEMOS directory to help you
get started in using FormulaBuilder. Consult the DEMOS.LST files in that
directory for the list of files and their descriptions.
