About This Version
------------------
COLLITE.EXE is the 2.0 LE shareware version of Colorize.
Colorize LE is a fully functional image viewer/converter/editor
for BMP, GIF, and PCX image files. The product version is
Colorize 2.0 XE and contains a few features not included in the
LE version.

Both versions are now complete paint programs.

In addition to colorization, the XE version allows you to
create incredible composite images, including the ability to
paste discontinuous areas of one image into another with
color (palette) import. You can also create masks, remove
or add features from one image into another, and create reuseable
backgrounds or foregrounds. In addition, you can "palettize" a
set of images so they can be displayed simultaneously in Windows.

What's in this version
----------------------
- Improved project support
- A full paint box
- Multi-line text support
- Limited 24-bit and 16 color support by conversion to 8-bit
  indexed color
- Save images as 24-bit True Color files
- Dodge tool, supporting any user defineable shape, allowing
discontinuous transparent paste with palette import
- Multiple images each with its own undo buffer (2 images for
LE version, unlimited number for registered copy)
- Resample images to create cartoon or line-draw effects
- Create slide shows and add sound
- Cue card help
- Transparent and Interlaced GIF save
- Display GIF comments
- Many other features

What's not in this LE version (but is in the 2.0 XE version)
------------------------------------------------------------
- TWAIN acquisition
- Paint the colors of any image in a project onto any other
  image in the same project
- Separation of images into channels with multiple color filters
for creating masks and transparently pasteable areas
- Many other multiple image functions
- Unify all of the palettes of multiple images so they may be
displayed on the screen simultaneously with no Windows color
  interaction
- Transitions and effects for slide shows with our exclusive
SFXLIB 1.0, included with the XE package
- Add and modify GIF comments
