System Park is an Australia based software wholesaler committed to develop
banking, insurance and specialized business application packages using the 
client-server technology on PC, UNIX, and IBM mainframe platforms.  With a 
pool of business experts specialized in various areas of banking and 
insurance operations, our packages are designed to meet almost every 
practical requirements of relevant industries.

We are currently inviting commercial software vendors to participate as 
product dealers and provide customer support and consultancy service for one 
of our BPR application packages 'Workaholic'. 

Workaholic is a works management system that automates complex clerical 
procedures in banking, insurance, and general business environments. This 
system is a client/server application. The front-end user interface 
runs in MS Windows. The back-end transaction and database servers 
run in IBM CICS/DB2 or UNIX/Oracle platforms. The front-end and back-end 
components are communicated in LU6.2 protocols through APPC/CPI-C command 
calls.

Our dealers will be granted the authority to modify the design, source 
codings, and documentations of the application to meet their customers 
requirements.

A demonstration version of the Workaholic application which runs in MS Windows 
has been loaded to the General Biz/Finance library of this WINSHARE forum under 
the name "WORKAH.ZIP".  The demonstration software would require MS ACCESS to 
run. You are invited to download and execute this demonstration for a thorough 
review on the application functionalities. 

Dealers of Workaholic are selected on the basis of their technical

2. 'Workaholic' Application Overview

2.1  System Objective

 
Workaholic is a work management system that automates the control, 
scheduling, auditing of complex clerical procedures in most commercial 
environment such as banking, insurance, shipping and public administration.

To streamline office operation, Workaholic automatically registers the
initiation of each piece of work interface from other system or users' 
manual input, allocate works to particular personal or team workbaskets 
according to pre-determined parameters, trigger request for preparation of 
specific paperwork, send e-mails to workers or team managers upon certain 
events, and prints statistical reports on personal and team productivity.

Workaholic is a client/server application developed in object-oriented 
approach.  The System architecture is segregated into the following

3. Running the Demonstration Package

3.1  Demonstration Overview and Hints

This demonstration package is intended to give a broad understanding of the 
major functionalities of the Workaholic system. The user can navigate 
through different functional windows in any desired order by selecting 
action items from the menu bar.

In most data entry windows of this demonstration, actual data entry is not 
necessary. Simply clicking on the OK or CLOSE buttons will direct the 
application to perform the desire function as if data or parameter has been 
entered.

'Read Me' button is available in some windows. Clicking on this button will 
bring up pop up windows that contain general notes and specific guidelines 
about how the user can explore the available functionalities.

3.2 System Requirement

- IBM Compatible PC with 386SX or higher CPU
- Mouse
- 4 MB of RAM or more
- MS DOS 3.1 or higher
- MS Windows 3.1
- MS ACCESS 2.0
- VGA or higher resolution monitor
- 3 MB of hard disk space 

3.3 Demonstration Start Up

(a) Start up MS Windows.

(b) Copy the files 'workahol.ldb' and 'workahol.mdb' of this demonstration 
set into the working directory of your MS-ACCESS application.
 
(c) Start up MS-ACCESS 2.0.

(d) In MS-ACCESS, open the database 'workahol' in the working directory. 
The Workaholic application will be started automatically after the database 
is opened, and the initial window with menu bar will be displayed. 

(e) Select any action item from the pull down menu and freely navigate 
through the application.
