Free Trial-Run Components for Delphi
------------------------------------

TurboPower Software wants to make it easy for Delphi programmers to
try our native VCL components. So we are offering *free* Trial-Run
components based on our commercial products. These free tools have the
full functionality of the commercial versions, but can run only when
Delphi is also running on the PC. To deliver an application using
these components, you must purchase the applicable commercial
products.

Check back from time to time at the download site where you found this
file, or at one of the sites listed at the end of this file. We will
be enhancing and adding to the Trial-Run components.

Feel free to pass the TurboPower Trial-Run components along to other
Delphi programmers.

Using the Trial-Run Components
------------------------------

The Trial-Run files you download are self-extracting archives. Create
a directory for each Trial-Run product and run the Trial-Run file from
that directory. Then look for a Windows Write file named README.WRI in
that directory for additional information about using the Trial-Run
version. README.WRI contains an abbreviated version of the
documentation for the product.

The Trial-Run components are supplied in the form of DCU (Delphi
Compiled Unit) files. Once installed into Delphi, they are used just
like any other Delphi component. You can design with them and even
compile and run applications as long as Delphi itself is concurrently
running. If you attempt to run a compiled executable when Delphi isn't
running, you'll get a warning dialog and the application will then
halt.

In addition to the compiled DCU files, the Trial-Run archive also
includes the interface sections from the component source units
and/or a complete help system ready to install into Delphi. The
interface files (files with an INT extension) are provided to allow
you to view the actual component class declarations and to provide
a simple reference to the unpublished methods and properties.

Please note that technical support is not available for the Trial-Run
components. If you have comments or suggestions, however, we would
appreciate hearing about them by e-mail as described in the following
section.
