INSTALLING THE SOFTWARE:  Simply copy the files into a directory.

STARTING UP VTOOLS:  From the DOS prompt, type:   VTOOLS

you may add to the name of a sprite file or an icon as parameter:
  Ex: VTOOLS DEMO
  Ex: VTOOLS VTOOLS.ICO

If  extension is not typed, the program adds the SPR extension to
the name, and search for a sprite file.  In  all  cases but the
present one for an icon , VTools sets itself the extensions  for
files,  that are proper to file type, and that user can't change.


Library here enclosed:
MCGALIB.OBJ   Sprites and graphical basis function for the VGA 19 mode.
              Tested with C program.

Other programs are demos of tools or sprites and how to use them.


THE REGISTERED VERSION

Also enclosed with the registered version:
MCGAPLUS.OBJ  All other sprites functions (F16, EAS, 16 colors, MS)
              but compressed 16 colors. For VGA or SVGA.
MCGAPRO.OBJ   Sprites function with color planes and scrolling,
              + Graphical user interface functions (See at MCGATEST for ex.)
VTREE.OBJ     Holds a function to display fractal trees.

Once you have registered you may link all the libraries to your shareware
or commercial program, without any fee or permission required.


The registered version is provided with several C sources:
MCGALIB.C     C source of this 256 colors VGA 19 library.
MCGALIB.ASM   ASM version.
MAZE.C        Full source of the maze-3D example.
FORMULA.C     Source of the 3D function.

You will get some other innovative utilities with the registered version:
EDIMAZE.EXE   Maze editor (demo here).
SCREEN.EXE    Screen maker, to make screen with sprite or get sprite
              from screens (use PCX files).
MEGA+         Program to draw larger sprites for walls.

By registering you will also get the latest version with new
improvements, a printed manual and the (free) licence for use.

By sending an extra 45$ you will receive the source of VTREE.OBJ
and MCGAPLUS.OBJ.
