     Hi...

These are powerful and complicated batch files. Best to put this
file set in a separate directory and -copies- of the three (3)
     Visual BASIC for DOS files:

     1. LINK.EXE
     2. LIB.EXE
     3. VBDOSQLB.LIB

     in that directory....

If you don't, and you change any of the batch file commands, you
can make one or more of the above three files into a null file....

Remember... I warned you.... don't call me to complain later.

     ERR.OBJ a real gem!

After you semi-understand how to make Quick Libraries unzip the
file set GETERROR.ZIP. It has a truly great little *.OBJ file that
you will really want to add to your Quick Library quiver. It will
return the module and address of a run time error, something you
     can't do from QuickBASIC.

FROMJOHN.BAT uses my ASCII file browser READ.EXE to read the
tutorial text inside MAKE_QLB.BAT. If you think a batch file is a
weird place to put a tutorial, bear with me... as I always do that.
That way you only have to keep one file to both run a program and
also to find out what it does.

If you are reading this after executing FROMJOHN.BAT, you can press
     <Esc> to now read MAKE_QLB.BAT

     John...
