                              FastDir 2.0

FastDir is a DOS program that makes it easy for you to jump between
various directories on your system and issue sets of custom commands.

FastDir consists of:

   FD.EXE The program
   FDCONFIG.EXE The configuration program
   FD.CNF An example configuration file
   FD.TXT User's manual
   ORDER.TXT Ordering information
   README.TXT This file

To install FastDir, simply copy all the files above to any directory on
your system. For best results, we suggest that you place FD.EXE in a
directory that is in your DOS PATH statement, since that will ensure you
can run FastDir no matter what your current directory is.

You should also make sure that your COMSPEC setting correctly points to
the command processor on your system, typically COMMAND.COM. (FastDir
will check for this setting, and it will tell you if it detects a problem.)

FastDir will never, under any circumstances, modify your AUTOEXEC.BAT or
CONFIG.SYS files.

See the manual for complete instructions on how to configure FastDir with
FDCONFIG.EXE to meet your needs.
