Thank you for trying BOOTSTOP.EXE

BOOTSTOP.EXE is a TSR that gives you a second chance before actually
performing a Ctrl-Alt-Del PC system reboot. Its pretty small 9k so it won't
use a lot of your systems resources.

To execute BOOTSTOP.EXE just type BOOTSTOP at the DOS prompt a place the
command in you AUTOEXEC.BAT. Don't forget to include the path or place
BOOTSTOP in a directory that is included in your system path.

BOOTSTOP will let you reboot if after pressing Ctrl-Alt-Del for the first
time you repeat the sequence immediately (within the first 5 keystrokes).

To unload BOOTSTOP press Ctrl-PrtScr at the DOS prompt. You may be able to
unload BOOTSTOP from within another application (instead of at the DOS prompt),
but I would not recommend it.

BOOTSTOP will attempt to save any DOS applications that are text graphics
based. That way if you decide not to reboot the screen will be restored.
However, because graphics based images take thousands of bytes to create
BOOTSTOP will not be able to save and restore these. Many DOS based
applications are text based though.

BOOTSTOP has been tested for incompatibilities with other programs
(e.g. Norton Utilities, Word Perfect, Quattro Pro, and etc...) and none were
found. It is absolutely impossible to test all applications, therefore the
author makes no claim to that effect.
