Returning to the DATA/PHONE SCREEN, Pressing "S" will put you in the
search mode with the following options:

"F" is a field search and is restricted to exact information located
in a particular field. "A" for anywhere in the file is the best search
method as it allows a "find" on any piece of information. Pressing "R"
will scan thru all the files in the data base.

Pressing "U" at the DATA/PHONE SCREEN and then pressing "P" will load
the following:

    <S>elect Options, <R>etrun to Data/Phone Screen, <C>alls, <E>nd Program:

As you can see, the "PRINT OPTIONS SCREEN" is very similar to the
DATA/PHONE SCREEN. Pressing "S" on this screen loads all the print options.

    Search in a <F>ield, <A>nywhere or <R>etrieve all records?

These search features are the same as those described for the Data/Phone
screen except everything will go to the printer as indicated by the
following options:

<C>ompany Phone Book, <H>ome Phone Book or <M>ailing Labels:

Pressing "C" will allow you to print Company phone books. This phone book
will be printed according to the option chosen. You may print by field
such as City, State, Code, etc., or you may print the entire Data Base.

If you wish to print by Code Criteria, you may print phone books by just
"Business Contacts", "Church Members", etc. and sorted in any order desired.
(Alphabetically or numerically, forward or backward!)

The Company Phone Book option produces a hard copy indicating:

LAST NAME FIRST NAME COMPANY POSITION WORK PHONE

                                  PAGE 5

(Note: When printing phone books, the print will pause after each page.
This allows printing with single sheets or fan fold paper. Press enter
to continue printing on the next sheet. With fan fold, check paper
adjustment and press ENTER.)

If you press "H" follow the procedure above. The Home Phone Book option
produces a hard copy indicating:

LAST NAME FIRST NAME ADDRESS CITY STATE ZIP PHONE

Pressing "M" will print mailing labels according to the option chosen.

If you've ever printed mailing labels, you know the first problem is to
get the proper alignment. The program provides the option of getting the
labels aligned in the printer before starting.

When you've completed printing phone books or mailing labels, you will
return to the primary options. Selecting "R" will return the program
to the DATA/PHONE SCREEN, selecting "E" will end the program. Selecting
"C" for "calls" will load the following screen in succession:

Enter DATE or NAME to search for (ENTER for all):

(At this point you may search on a date such as 03/08/91 or just 03 or
03/08 or 91, etc. Any part of a date criteria. You may also search on
the last name. Example DOE.

You will then be ask:

OUTPUT TO (S)CREEN OR (P)RINTER?

A report will then be printed to the screen or printer such as the example
below:

If you wish to start another phone calling log (PHONELOG.TXT), you can
rename the text file or delete it. You may want to keep a permanent
record of calls by year or other specified period of time. This can be
done with the following command at the DOS prompt:

A:\>RENAME PHONELOG.TXT LOG91.TXT (or whatever you want to call it)

(NOTE: it can be viewed or printed any time with the following DOS
commands:

A:\>TYPE LOG91.TXT (To view on the screen)
A:\>TYPE LOG91.TXT>PRN (To redirect to the printer)

To delete it use the command:

A:\>DEL PHONELOG.TXT (or it may be erased while in the Call Report program)

(NOTE: The program will create a new PHONELOG.TXT the next time it is run)
