JOTIT.TXT File for Jot-It 2.0, the Intelligent Notepad:

	Jot-It is a personal notepad for Windows.
Jot-It is ideal for recording to-do lists and reminders
because it stores its data in a dedicated file and 
remembers its dimensions, font size, font type and color
scheme between sessions.  Detailed information about
Jot-It is displayed when you click on the Help menu or
press the F1 key after Jot-It is launched.

INSTALLING JOT-IT

	The Jot-It zipped archive consists of the
following five files:

	JOTIT.EXE - the main executable file for Jot-It
	JOTIT.HLP - the Jot-It on-line help file
	CMDIALOG.VBX - a required support file used by
		       Jot-It's common dialogs
	THREED.VBX - a required support file used by Jot-It
	JOTIT.TXT - this file

	Copy all five files to the same directory.
If you wish, you may copy CMDIALOG.VBX and THREED.VBX to
your Windows system subdirectory instead.  Jot-It is launched
by running JOTIT.EXE.  NOTE: You must also have the Visual
Basic 3.0 run-time module VBRUN300.DLL located on your
Windows system subdirectory.  This module is available
for downloading from most on-line services.

SYSTEM REQUIREMENTS

	1.  IBM-Compatible PC with a 386 or better chip,
	    Windows 3.1 with a VGA or better color monitor,
	    a mouse, and a hard drive
	2.  Ensure that your Windows system subdirectory
	    contains the file COMMDLG.DLL shipped with
	    Windows 3.1.  If you lack the file, copy it
	    to the subdirectory from your original Windows
	    disks.
	3.  VBRUN300.DLL installed in your Windows system
	    subdirectory.
