                            The BabySitter v3.0
                            -------------------
                         Whats new in this version?

                              Getting started

     Getting started:

  1. For floppies.
Make the "BabySitter" disk a system disk. (see SITR-DOC.EXE)
Re-boot your computer so the CONFIG.SYS file can work.
Thats it! It will load the BabySitter in the supplied
     AUTOEXEC.BAT automatically.

  2. For Hard Drives.
Create a directory called "SITTER", place all the files in
that directory, type: "SITTER" Make this off the ROOT drive.
For drop to DOS protection, see SITR-DOC.EXE

     Whats new in version 3.0:

  1. Description fields for your children.
Enter the descriptions for up to 3
     children.

  2. One key dialing to call the baby sitters.
Now call the sitter while you look
     at her/his file.

  3. Your Name & Address field.
This will pop-up for the sitter in case
she/he needs to give it out for emergency
     services.

  4. Another page of sitters information.
Now you can add up to 9 different sitters
     on your list to call.

  5. LARGE phone numbers displayed for NO Modem.
Now if you don't have a modem, or you don't
want to turn it on, LARGE enough letters to
view from across the room are displayed for
     the sitter to see.

  6. First Aid instructions. *
Some very basic First Aid insrtuctions are
given to the sitter on some common First Aid
     situations.

   * Written by a certified First Aid Instructor.

  7. Drop to DOS feature.
You can now drop to DOS to get that number or
address you needed without leaving the BabySitter.
Remember, if you switch drives to get info....
remember to switch back again before you return
     to the BabySitter.

  8. Save Wallpaper.
Now you can save the Wallpaper for start-up.

  9. An evaluation counter.
So you can see how many times you have used
the BabySitter. (If it gets kinda high, please register)

 10. More help and reminder screens.

 11. More timed screens.
So your sitter can not burn in your screen.

 12. Mouse control for the Activity Log.
Now use the MOUSE with the Log.
     Left <click> = Down
     Right <click> = Up
     Middle <click> = Exit

And you don't leave automatically at the
end of the log anymore. Use <Esc> to exit
     the Activity Log.

 13. Re-Dial.
The modem will now re-dial if it gets a busy
signal, or if no one answers. This way the
sitter does not have to worry about redialing
     the number on her/his own.

 14. Order form.
Now there is a handy Order Form.
Fill out this form to register the
     BabySitter.

 15. New hard drive installation program.

     Bug fixes:

  1. Fixed which phone number is displayed
if you try to call the parent by the
time shown. Plus dials the correct #.

  2. Now MODEM screens are timed correctly.
