For example, the USA quiz provided on the disk draws a may of the U.S. and highlights a state. The student types in the name of the state and the computer says whether the answer is right or wrong and keeps a running tally. Unfortunately, though the documentation says that EGA cards are supported, quizzes that make use of graphics are not and instead of warning you, the program locks up the machine tight. The graphics-dependent quizzes loaded and ran all right on a CGA-equipped PC. You can still run quizzes on monochrome and EGA systems, but you cannot use graphics. Quizzer also claims to support the Vortrax speech synthesizer, but this was not tested. PCX files are supported.
