students that is patterned after the TV game of similar name. There are six
categories, each with five levels of answers, with increasing values. Up to
three teams may play at once.

[CAPWORLD]
CapWorld (Magic Software; $20) is a geography trivia quiz game for up to 4
players. The computer can generate millions of different questions, since
it uses multiple choice questions and true & false. The categories include
capitals, languages, currency and areas. Hi-resolution graphics are used
for each continent, which make this game fun and informative.

which has five categories from which to choose and a poker machine that
simulates the machines found in many casinos and taverns. What's unique
about both is the ability to convert them into adult games. We are not sure
how you can hope to come out ahead playing strip poker against a computer,
but when the chips are down, who knows.

travel around the board, testing your luck and trivial skill while drinking

game including a large selection of topics such as literature, history, and
politics. Most answers are entered free-form and are matched against a set
of responses. Much more natural user input is allowed than the usual
multiple-choice or matching of answers. Typing time can be customized for
each player to equalize differences in typing speed. It supports the Ad Lib
sound board for opening and closing music sequences and Personics
Ultravision.

The questions are tough; the program is slick and well written.

well-designed, rock and roll trivia game. The categories of questions are

category is randomly selected based on your keypress and four possible
answers are displayed for a few seconds before the question comes up. A
time counts down from 100; if you answer correctly, you get points based on
how quickly you answered. Anyone interested in Rock will love this game.

ranges from sports to history and mathematics. Incorrectly answered
questions block your progress, so strategy and general knowledge are both

Trivia 2000 (TAK Theory; $0) is a computerized adaptation of the popular
adult board game Trivial Pursuit. It has a few added features not included
with the board game. One to six players are allowed. You have the ability
to "freeze" games, this is a great feature if you are playing by yourself.
Choose how many retries to allow all players in case their answer is wrong.
This can be changed at any time.

Tune Trivia ($?) is a game in which the computer plays the most familiar
part of a well-known song and you must guess the title in twenty seconds or
less; a countdown clock on the screen lets you know how much time you have.
Your average score is based on how long it takes you to name the song. The
computer displays your score after each tune. There are more than two
hundred songs in the program.

Turtle Trivia (Schneider, Kim; $0) is a Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtle trivia
game that the kids will enjoy playing. It was written by a 13-year old.
