Ghosts rise from a graveyard and float off the top of the display past a full moon and drifting clouds. The cursor turns into a witch on a broomstick and can be used to annoy the ghosts. It works with bitmaps produced using low cost hand-held scanners and is intended to provide a cheap and effective method of data entry for computer programmers. Requires 2MB RAM. Ikonize 1.20 King, Andrew $10 #12167 is a DOS application which allows you to capture a graphic and save it as a Windows icon or use it as wallpaper. Images can be scaled up or down to icon size or a size which will fit an exact number of copies onto your wallpaper. Original colors can be saved or converted to 16 colors. Kidpix R. K. You can easily zoom in on an interesting section, change the color palette, and save the image to disk. You can even animate the images by cycling the colors for a spectacular effect. 256-color VGA is recommended. Terminator New World Software $0 #3691 is a useless but fun application that puts a picture of everyone's favorite cyborg in a window. Pressing the "I'll Be Back" button causes the terminator to say just that. The picture then vanishes for a user-specified interval, only to relentlessly return again and again. (This disk includes Aaron Wallace's SOUNDER program, which requires a $2 registration fee.) WinFract Stone Soup Group $0 #7626/2837 [2 disks] generates complex fractal images. WallBlaster 1.2 (WALLBLS) WrightWorks $0 changes the desktop wallpaper from a library of up to six images contained in a ZIP archive (#1705 PKZip required). It selects files at random either at a timed interval or on demand. This really lets you get the most enjoyment from your Wallpaper files. Wallpaper (WALPAPR) Kather, Todd $0 lets you keep BMP files compressed into a ZIP file and still use them. The program extracts a selected BMP file and updates the Windows desktop to use it as wallpaper. PKZIP (on disk #1705) is required. This is a very well done little utility that allows you to salvage a lot of hard disk space eaten up by large BMP files.
