Shoot-the-Notes 1.0 (SHTNOTE) Dworsky, R.J. $25 is a game for learning musical notes. It can be set for beginning to advanced levels. The program displays a staff with notes on it and tells you a note to shoot. You have a limited time (in the non-beginner levels) to aim at and shoot the correct note. Misses reduce your playing time. The program, written by a music teacher, looks like an excellent learning tool. You must make the right decisions at every turn about how to get out alive, or you instantly fall victim to burning ashes or toxic gases. A hard disk is required.
