Facilities Manager for Series 5
                 
This is version 5.23 of Facilities Manager for the Psion Series 5.

Version 5.23 has the following changes:-

	German language version released

	Some mimor imternal changes

Version 5.22 had the following improvements:-

	A problem with editing memos on German machines has been solved

	Better screen display on Revo machines*

Version 5.21 had the following improvements:-

	Colour support on Series 7 and other colour machines

	Support for the smaller screens of the Revo and Osaris

	Installation via .SIS file

	Some minor bug fixes

Version 5.20 had two major new features:-

        The ability to print the Facilities Manager chart.
	
        The ability to attach memos to entries in the chart. 
	
Version 5.23 is supplied as a SIS file which may be installed like 
other EPOC programs.

This zip contains the following files:-

Once installed it will comprise the following files:-

Once you have installed Facsman, the program's icon should appear in 
the Extras bar. Tap the Icon to start the program, which will 
initially open its help file. Tap 'Go back' to return to the program.

Please report to me any problems you encounter. I am particularly 
interested in how the program performs on non-U.K. machines, how it 
performs on 'clone' machines such as the Revo and Osaris and whether 
you encounter any file location problems when using a Compact Flash 
card.

UPGRADING PREVIOUS VERSIONS OF FACSMAN

If upgrading a previous version of Facsman you may get an "Access denied"
error. This occurs because your existing FACSMAN.HLP file is marked as
read only. In this case select the file /System/Apps/Facsman.hlp in the
system screen, press Control-P then tap the Read-only box to untick it 
then try installation again.

If upgrading a version of Facsman which is version 5.20 or later, select
NO when asked if this is your first installation. This prevents a new 
blank Memo file overwriting your existing memos. 

*IMPORTANT NOTE FOR REVO USERS

The documentation and Help files in this archive contain graphics.
Unfortunately in designing the Revo, Psion have deleted the ability to
display the graphics contained within these files.

The graphics will therefore be displayed as question marks on the Revo.

Although this limits the usefulness of the files, they should be understandable
in text only.
