This zip file contains version 1.1 of the Word macros for use with
Tom Dolbilin's Macro System version 2.

Version 1.1 of these macros should work much better. The previously slow
screen swapping is now almost unnoticeable.


Version 1.1
-----------
Initcaps has been extended to recgonise non-English characters.

Select has been extended to highlight multiple paragraphs.

Number has been extended to provide roman numerals (up to xxxix).

Toc has been extended to automatically format the table of contents, and
optionally to number headings.



Justification macros
--------------------

justify		Justify the current paragraph
leftj		Left justify the current paragraph
rightj		Right justify the current paragraph
centre		Centre the current paragraph


Capitalisation macros
---------------------

caps		Capitalise the current selection - up to 254 characters only
nocaps		Make the current selection lower case - up to 254 characters only
initcaps	Make the initial letters of the selection uppercase - 254 characters

Note: To undo the effects of the capitalization macros, press delete followed
by Psion-I (insert).


Shorthand macros
----------------

quote		Put double quotes around the current selection, otherwise insert two
			double quotes and move the cursor between the quotes.

bracket		Put brackets around the current selection, otherwise insert a pair
			of brackets and move the cursor between them.


Selection macros
----------------

select		On the first invocation select the current word. On the second
			invocation select the current line. On the third invocation select
			the current paragraph. On the fourth and subsequent invocation
			select further paragraphs.

selectwb	Select the current word on the first invocation, on subsequent
			invocations, extend the selection backwards.

selectwf	Select the current word on the first invocation, on subsequent
			invocations, extend the selection forwards.


Power macros
------------

number		This macro will automatically number selected paragraphs. A range of
			numbering styles are available as well as the ability to use a
			custom style.

numhead		This macro will automatically number headers in a document.

toc			This macro will automatically generate a table of contents
			within a document. 

			To use this macro, ensure that there is at least one line of
			non-outline text between headings and that there are no empty
			headers.

Note: To use numhead and toc, the ZZ style must *not* exist.


Note: You might on occasion see some bring server errors. Clear these by
pressing ENTER.
