Space Invader5 for EPOC
=======================
Space Invader5 is - perhaps not surprisingly - a Space Invaders clone for the Psion Series 5, 5mx, and Geofox machines.  If you don't know what Space Invaders is... then you're a lot younger that me!  ;-)

Installation
============
Space Invader5 is supplied in a single zip file: Invader5.zip.  This zip file contains 2 files: Invader5.sis and ReadMe.txt.  ReadMe.txt is this text file.  Invader5.sis can be installed from your PC via PsiWin 2.1 (or greater) or by using EPOC Install on the Psion/Geofox itself.  If you have Message Suite already installed on your machine then you probably already have EPOC Install installed (check your Control Panel for its Add/Remove icon).  If not, you can obtain a copy from Psion's web site at www.psion.com.

Instructions
============
Controls are given on the quick-help screen in the game.  Press the 'Help' button or Ctrl+H to bring this up.  Control keys are:
Right-handed Controls:
Left = Cursor left, Right = Cursor right, Fire = Fn, Pause = P

Left-handed Controls:
Left = Z, Right = C, Fire = Cursor up, Pause = P

The object of the game is to get as high a score as possible by shooting down as many aliens and mystery ships as possible.  You get 3 lives to start with.  You lose a life every time you're hit by an alien bomb or they manage to land on your base.  Once you've lost all 3 lives the game is over.  You get an extra life with every 1500 points.

Legal Stuff
===========
Space Invader5 is SmileyWare.  This means that it's very nearly freeware.  All I ask is that you send me a Smiley :-) if you like it.  How's that for cost-effective software?!
Space Invader5 may be freely distributed.  I would ask however that if you want to publish on CD, on another web site, or some other medium that you contact me before-hand so that I can keep tabs on it and advise upgrades, etc.
Space Invader5 is copyright and may not be reverse-translated or otherwise de-compiled without my express written permission.
