Installation Instructions

1. Unpack the Zip file to your PC or your Psion.

2. On the PC:
   Double click on the file nICQ.SIS. This will start the PC
   automatic installation of nICQ.
   On the Psion:
   Double tap on the file nICQ.SIS. This will start the Psion
   automatic installation of nICQ.

nICQ should now be accessible to you from the Extras icon.

Questions & Answers 

Q: Cannot connect to the ICQ server.
A: Check the following:
 1. That you can connect to the Internet using either Web browser or Email.
 2. That your ISP can connect to the ICQ server. Certain ISPs may prevent  you connecting to certain sites. You can verify this if you have a PC with ICQ and try to connect to the same ISP.
 3. You are not connected to the ICQ server with the same UIN from another computer.
 4. If you have just disconnected from ICQ on another computer you may have to wait several minutes before you can connect using nICQ.

Q: How do I do real time chat with other users?
A: At the moment nICQ does not support chat or file transfer facilities. This will hopefully be added in the future.  Check www.neuon.com for the latest update.

Q. If I don't have a registered UIN with ICQ can I use nICQ?
A. No, at the moment it is not possible to register a new UIN with the server. If you have access to a PC you can register a new UIN with the PC version of ICQ. Once you have a registered UIN you can use these settings in nICQ to logon.

Q. If I register nICQ now will I be able to get free updates?
A. Yes, once you register nICQ you can download all future versions free of charge from www.neuon.com
