AB (Producer) Current estimates are that 1.2 million persons are infected
with the human immunodeficiency virus (HIV) in the United States. By
the year 2000, the projection is that up to 120 million will have become
infected worldwide. Nearly all persons with HIV disease experience oral
and/or cutaneous complications during the course of their illness.
Increasingly during the next decade, all health care providers including
primary care physicians, internists, dentists, and dermatologists will
be called upon to diagnose and treat HIV disease. This CD-ROM contains
almost 300 original photographic images with accompanying text
describing the clinical lesions, treatment options, and some
       histopathological comparisons.
