AB The pediatric patients have been treated with the natural remedies since
March 1992. During the first 12 months, we compared results of a group
treated with natural remedies and one with AZT. We did not observe a
better response in the AZT group than in natural herb group. During the
next eight months, only natural remedies were used, and the most
favorable result was observed in the subjects of Group II who were
treated with clinical herbal medicine, herb extract and soup. In this
group, all patients with AIDS symptons improved and they returned to
simply HIV positive status clinically except one case. In Group I
(herbal medicine and soup), more than 90% of the patients were improved.
The mortality has been remarkably reduced in comparison with the other
group which has been treated ordinarily. As our experience shows, the
natural treatment should be recognized as an effective method for
management of AIDS symptoms at the present time.
