 AB    OBJECTIVE: SidAfrique, published by OPALS, aninternational NGO based in
       Paris and Brazzaville and active in 16 African countries, is intended to
       train and inform on all aspects of HIV epidemic in Africa. METHODS:
       Through 32 pages, both in french and english, African and Europeans
       specialists will share late epidemiologic knowledge, research on
       clinical and therapeutical aspects, care and prevention items.
       SidAfrique will also relate on local programs initiated by OPALS members
       especialy in connection with national programs on aids: information
       campaigns and training kits, treatment activities and support, NGO's
       networking and solidarity. Debates on ethics and aids policies are
       welcome, as well as local agendas and publications. RESULTS: Every 3
       months, 2,000 issues are mailed through OPALS groups in 16 countries:
       Benin, Cameroon, Congo, Ivory Cost, France, Gabon, Gambia, Mali,
       Morocco, Senegal, South Africa Republic,, Soudan, Tanzania, Tchad, Togo,
       Uganda, Zaire.
