BANZAI!

Well, this is the first, but hopefully not last, edition of SYNCHRONETICS
E-ZINE, the first publication of it's kind for Synchronet BBS SysOps. This
first issue was originally intended to be a straight ASCII file to gauge
how much interest there was in such a publication. But, as with most things
in life, it grew. After having received the suggestion to put it in the
READROOM format from a poster on DOVE-NET, I looked into that possibility
and decided to make it so.

SYNCHRONETICS E-ZINE was created to fill a void that I saw in the support
of one of the greatest BBS software packages available today. I felt such a
great peice of software deserved its own journal so I created it. While
this first issue is humble, it's going to get better. But I can't do it
alone. This has to be a group effort if it is to be a success. Synchronet
SysOps are some of the most helpful that I've seen. One just has to read
DOVE-NET to see that. We also have a very diverse Sync SysOp family with
BBS's from all over the world. I've even received e-mail from someone in
Croatia who was trying to set up a Synchronet BBS. SYNCHRONETICS E-ZINE
accepts articles of all sorts that relate to Synchronet BBS software, the
telecommunications industry, or just BBS'ing in general. We even accept
artwork, both ANSI and RIP, which can be displayed in the READROOM format.
